Dear Two Ten Recovery Champions,
I’m honored to introduce myself as Angie Lohr, the new Executive Director of Two Ten Recovery Inc., and to invite you to join our Fund-A-Bed fundraiser. This cause is personal for me, having experienced my own recovery journey.
Originally from Winnipeg, I moved to the Okanagan, where I founded HOPE Okanagan, supporting women in sex work, addiction, and homelessness. After over a decade in Kelowna, I’ve returned to continue my work in addiction recovery here at Two Ten.
My struggle with addiction began at 28, and after 13 challenging years, I found hope through local programs like Main Street Project and Esther House. Today, I am living proof that recovery is possible, and I’m passionate about helping others find their second chance.
Since joining Two Ten in May 2024, I’ve been deeply moved by the impact of our program. We offer individuals the opportunity to break free from addiction and rebuild their lives—one bed at a time.
But we can’t do this alone. That’s where you come in.
We’re asking 37 champions to sponsor a bed for $3,000. This will provide one year of support for someone in recovery, offering safe housing, life skills, and the guidance to start a new life. Your generosity will directly change lives.
We understand that not everyone can afford a $3,000 contribution, but any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. Every dollar helps provide someone with the support they need to transform their future.
Please see the attached details, and I look forward to thanking you personally at a special event in January.
With gratitude and hope,
Angie Lohr,
Executive Director, Two Ten Recovery Inc.
